A Big Thanks from Santa and Friends… |
Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch just wanted to give a special thank you to all the residents who came out to enjoy the Cruisin With Claus event as well as the Santa Parade! We are so appreciative of our friends from the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, Rockville City Police Department and Montgomery County Police Department for ensuring the parade route was safe for Santa and his reindeer and fun for all! If you happened to miss the fun, we thank King Farm neighbor, Sun-Lin Lee, for putting together this great video of the Santa parade. Click here to watch all the action. We would also like to thank everyone for their generous toy donations this year! Hundreds of toys were collected on Sunday and were distributed to children in the Rockville community. Thanks to your donations, many children in Rockville would not have had such a happy holiday without your toy donations. We thank you and appreciate all of you and your kindness. |

Specifically, Ralph Buglass [pronounced: BU – glis] will narrate a virtual Zoom presentation entitled, Rockville: A Pictorial History. Mr. Buglass is a speaker for Montgomery History, the county’s historical society, as well as a volunteer researcher for Peerless Rockville, the city’s historic preservation organization. How to Contact KFNV For most of our monthly events, membership is required, but membership is free and easy to do. We do, however, accept donations that help defray the cost of services and events like the successful Bonbons and Beer virtual event that was just held in December. Also, with the year coming to an end, we ask you to consider supporting the KFNV when thinking about your year-end charitable contributions. Finally, for information on how to register for any of the above events, to become a KFNV member, to make a year-end contribution, or to request a “Making Memories Together” board game, please contact the Member Coordinators at [email protected], leave a voicemail at (301) 799-8104, or view the KFNV website at www.kfnv.org.
