Guidelines for Changes or Repairs to Exterior HVAC Equipment and Solar Panels:
Please use these guidelines for replacing or repairing one of these items on your property. Any time you alter or change the existing condition in any way, it requires a design review application. Provided that you make these changes for repair or maintenance, then a DRA is not required.
HVAC Equipment Repairs:
- No DRA is required for HVAC repairs.
HVAC Equipment Replacements:
- RELOCATING HVAC equipment to another location on your property requires the submission of a DRA for review AND approval.
- No DRA is required, as long as the replacements are placed in the same location as the original equipment.
Solar Panel Installations:
- All new solar panel installations require a DRA for review AND approval.
Solar Panel Repairs:
- No DRA is required, as long as any repairs use the same or a close facsimile of the original material (including color).
Solar Panel Replacements:
- No DRA is required, as long as the replacements are placed in the same location as the original equipment.
- MOVING Solar Panels to another location on your property requires the submission of a new DRA for review AND approval.
