King Farm Community Service Group
The King Farm Community Service Committee is a Non-funded Registered Affiliate of the King Farm Citizen Assembly.
This group’s mission is to provide service to residents of King Farm and the greater Rockville community.
They participate in a variety of service projects and are open to new ideas, but do not participate in fund-raising projects.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month they send a team of King Farm residents to the non-profit Manna Food Warehouse,
off Gude Drive, from 9am-12pm. There they sort donated food and pack food for distribution to the needy.
The group also supports and encourages residents to volunteer with Rockville HELP, and runs an annual
Coat Drive in November that helps keep needy people in the area warm during the winter.
Planning meetings are held at the King Farm Community Center, 300 Saddle Ridge Circle, at 7:30 p.m. on the 3rd Monday
of every month and are posted on the King Farm website calendar.
All King Farm residents are invited to attend and participate in meetings, and are welcome to
volunteer for any planned event. New faces and new ideas are welcome.
